If your pool pump is whining or grinding, having a hard time turning over or priming, it's time to replace it with our direct replacement motors that easily bolt right onto your existing pump. There are no pipes to cut or gluing to do. Simply turn off the power at the breaker and tape or lock the breaker box, and unbolt the old motor. Set the new motor next to the old one and remove both motor end caps and move the existing electrical, ground, and bonding wires over to the new motor. Then replace the cap, move the impellor and seal over to the new motor shaft, bolt it back on, and you're done! If you are unsure, call an electrician or pool service technition. Motors are available in 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, and 2 HP.
A handy Go Kit is highly recommended when replacing your Hayward Super Pump motor which includes a new Pump Seal, Housing Gasket, Diffuser Gasket, Lid Gasket, and Lubricant. These are all the most common wear and tear parts that are conveniently replaceable when changing a motor.
